Biography

Jesús M. Zamarreño was born in San Sebastián, in 1969. He received the M.S. degree in Physics from University of Valladolid in 1992.

He obtained the Ph.D. degree in the Department of System Engineering and Automatic Control at University of Valladolid in 1996. He teached Computer Science (Physics) and Computer Control (Chemical Engineering) as associate lecturer in 1996/97. At the same time, in the period may-december 1997, he worked as Software Developer at EAM Sistemas Informáticos. Since January 1998, he was assistant lecturer at this department. From March 2001, he is lecturer at the System Engineering and Automatic Control department. His research interests are in dynamical system identification and MBPC control by neural networks.

Mr. Zamarreño is a member of CEA-IFAC and ISA, where I am professor advisor of the student section at Valladolid.
